When Society Falls Apart
Scripture tells us that God’s people are in a spiritual battle of enormous significance. Judges tells the story of what happens in this battle when God’s people fail to listen to him. As dark as this book often is, we also find in it a shining ray of hope. In God’s act of raising up deliverers again and again, he reveals to us his unceasing commitment and unstoppable power. And he points forward to an even greater Deliverer whose rescue will have no end or limit.
